Jadir João Egídio

Jadir João Egídio was born in Divinópolis, Minas Gerais, in 1933. Until 1977, he was a bit of everything, even a cartwright, when he suffered a serious accident that made him stay at home, something that took him to the path of sculpture. His work in wood has a religious character reminiscent of the European Romanesque.

Although still alive, his artistic activities have ended.
