Cícero Mafra


Cicero’s work with light comes from a long time ago. For over 30 years he has been working in the field of lighting technology for museums, malls, hotels, public works, scenery and residences. In addition, he creates luminaires and other products for lighting. It was precisely by working with the light that Cicero decided to dedicate himself to photography. He produced works that soon showed his sensitivity as a photographer, bet on originality and opened in 2011 a very special cultural space, bringing together a photographic studio and gallery – Cmafra, focused on art, focusing on contemporary experimental photography.
