Carlos Tenius

Sculptor. He has studied with Fernando Corona and majored in sculpture by the Escola de Artes , UFRGS. He is the most important contemporary sculptor concerning public monuments in Rio Grande do Sul State.He has done three important public monuments at the region as:
-Açorianos Monument, Porto Alegre, 1974
-Italian Imigration Monument, Farroupilha, RS, 1975
-Castelo Branco Monument, Moinhos de Vento Park, Porto Alegre, 1979.
He lives and works in Porto Alegre and is considered one of the most significant XX´s Century Sculptor of very south of Brazil.
